Why photography?

What attracts me is the chance to catch the intensity of the moment.

As a visual person I express my own reflection through visiting different physical places and by capturing them. I also enjoy being carried away by idealistic point of view of a situation which then influence the whole scenario.

Why black and white?

B&W analogue photography has many layers, literally and actually. I don't know if its because of the lengthy process with this particular medium, which takes you from ' being in the right place at the right time ' to ' was that set on camera right? ' or ' cannot see anything ' but in this modern world, it´s good to blend with the more direct image, more authentic old fashioned world, with the help of analogue photography.

So you are more interested in the process?

Yes, but also the result. Analogue photo has a visual depth and stability that modern camera cannot give you.

This process which straight from loading the negative, fills you up with this excitement caused by the impossibility of instant control. This uncertainty transforms you into the watcher who is just waiting, looking around and preparing for the moment and when it happens, there is only a limited time to first, measure the exposure and then to reload the camera not to mention the limitation by the number of frames.

It is truly a way to train patience and to stick with “it” from the beginning until the final image.

Would you say that photography is your life?

Well, the life of our work, whatever it may be has the same vibration as our own life stories, in which one can realise that the journey Is the goal. So I like to share parts of my journey which become alive by the attention of the audience and how much they let themselves be influenced by them.

And what about ecological point of view?

(Work in progress)
